Saturday, September 19th, 2026. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the celebration will continue through 10:30 PM.

Before we head to the big reunion on Saturday, let’s kick off the weekend the way we used to — together, with old friends, good stories, and plenty of laughs! Come out Friday night to reconnect with classmates, catch up on what’s happened since 1976, and maybe prove that we still know how to have a good time. Casual. Relaxed. No agenda. Just the Class of ’76 getting together a night early! So dig out those memories, bring your stories, and come raise a glass to 50 years of friendship, fun, and memories.

Reunion Celebration & Reception
Join us for a memorable evening of reconnecting and celebration featuring a live DJ, dancing, a fun and interactive trivia game, a champagne toast, and an array of heavy hors d’oeuvres served throughout the night. A cash bar will be available.

Memories
Share your favorite memories, milestone moments, and life events as we celebrate 50 years since graduation and the paths that have brought us here.
I have many cherished memories during my time at LPHS! From being in Swing Choir, a member of the EL PE team, a Bat Girl when our baseball team won STATE, Homecoming, Friday night dances after home games, hanging around at Senior Rail, Proms, GR dances, and many more… some favorite teachers… Mr. D ( Deardurff) , Mr. Burke, Mr. Shei, Coach Schreiber… I’m grateful for those days at LPHS as all my experiences guided me to take on my future dreams with a confident hope.

I met the love of my life, Martin Prellwitz, in high school & made some lifelong friends there. I loved being in plays. We had some great teachers. I loved walking to & from school. I enjoyed all the dances. The football seasons were awesome. It was a wonderful time of life.

Swim practices (as a sophomore) was on boys team. It was a great learning experience that prepared me to be a great girls coach. Played volleyball jr and senior years. Loved it ! Made DAC team my senior year.

Loved the excitement and school spirit that lead up to Homecoming, and the football /basketball games! The Junior/ Senior dance was always a good time as well as the GR Formal and Proms. Of course when I think of the friendships made, I consider myself very lucky to have great memories of high school.

I beat Pat Sharp one time in a race ( at practice). Wayne Pate attempted to teach me to high jump…I was 4’11” so…. I loved Mrs Ellison and my daily PE classes (ADHD and great counselor I hung around a little with everyone, but Charlynn, Vicki Cambell, Donna Neary and Lisa Beadles and bestie Donna Barrier as neighborhood friends. Loved Mr Dearduff (taught me how to write a check). Mrs Howel (how to design my own patterns) and Mr. Piper who taught me to type. And thank you to all the friends in my classes for putting up with my many shenanigans

So many cherished friendships and competing in athletics on LPHS Girls Track, Girls Tennis, and Girls Volleyball plus intramural basketball & softball. Being on the ELPE yearbook staff. Going to the basketball, football, wrestling, gymnastics and baseball competitions. Our 76 class winning sectional championships in volleyball & basketball. State Champs in 76 for Baseball & Hockey. Getting those small ‘newspaper’ sports editions in the hallways on game days. Live bands for the dances after the home football games. Talent shows.
